ImageACR I-CARD PROJECT

The ACR I-Card Project automates the entire process of alien registration and integrates the issuance of various paper-based alien documentations into a microchip-based identification card.

THE ACR I-CARD

The ACR I-Card is a microchip-based credit card-sized identification card issued to registered alien replacing the paper-based ACR. It has an embedded computer chip with biometric security features capable of data management and can be updated electronically.


ANNOUNCEMENTS:
  1. BI reminds foreigners to make ANNUAL REPORT
    The Bureau of Immigration (BI) reminded that all resident foreign nationals in the country that they have only until this March 1, 2010 to report in person to the bureau their presence in the country, lest they face deportation for being improperly documented aliens.

  2. Effective February 15,2008 all applicants for extension (tourist visa) under the VIMS (VISA ISSUANCE MADE SIMPLE) are required to pay in addition to immigration fees, Certification fee of P500, Express fee of P500 plus Legal Research Fee of P10 for every transaction.

  3. All APPLICANTS are required to dress properly. Applicants wearing shorts, sandos, and slippers will not be allowed entry to Immigration Office. Transactions are entertained during Mondays thru Fridays, 7:00am to 5:30pm.

Bureau of Immigration (BI) personnel at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) have been ordered to render overtime work in the next two weeks in anticipation of the influx of large volume of arriving and departing travelers during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
